About New Concept Car Wash
New Concept Car Wash is a self-service car wash in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 2522 McClelland Ave, Erie, PA 16510, which places it among the local businesses of Erie that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Erie, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Pennsylvania, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Erie keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. The listed phone number is (814) 899-7177. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Its Google rating stands at 2.2 out of 5 from 14 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Erie is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Erie peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is my go to for hand wash. $3 for 4 minutes. The only downside is the timer does not beep to give you a chance to put more quarters in.

Have given this place a try several times with the hope it would get better...NEVER any wax (just sprays water) and lucky if you get soap. Go someplace else

Was ok, convenient to vacuum out my car. Quiet, not too close in town around too many people to be crowded. I like that.
